Our 25th Annual Back to School 2014 is scheduled for August 8 at Central Assembly of God. To date, throughout more than two decades, this outreach has blessed over 55,000 K-12 students with school supplies, Scholastic books and clothing to help them succeed in school. This year, we hope to assist up to 2,500 deserving children.
If you are a family that needs assistance, please register your children for this outreach:
Date: July 14-26 (every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays only)
Time: 9am-3pm (weekdays) and 10am-2pm (Saturdays)
Venue: Ministry Center, 2nd floor, 1715 N. Boonvile (weekdays) and Victory Vintage Thrift Store, 824 W. Commercial (Saturdays)
*An original social security card or government DFS print out must be presented for each child.
*Each adult must present a photo ID, social security card, proof of address and proof of income.
If you would like to help with this outreach, you can:
1) Give a BTS Gift - just $35 provides school supplies, clothing and a $20 gift card.
2) Organize a drive for school supplies and new or gently used clothing.
3) Volunteer with registration, event setup and cleanup, and distribution of supplies - individuals and groups of all ages are welcome and needed! Call Emily Yeap at 417.864.2213 or send an e-mail to
